From Shallow Bay to Fox Cove
So mom and I paddled around from Shallow Bay to Fox Cove... downwind and with the current, while Eric went back to get Favorite and meet up with us.
Cormeleans
These guys looked black when on this mooring bouy, the others looked red on the red Navigation bouy and some looked green on the green one.
Perhaps we hadn't had enough coffee yet this morning.

Saturna Sunset
A beautiful sunset over Saturna Island.
We rowed out after dark by the light of the moon for a lovely little jaunt almost to Little Sucia, and just floated in the darkness for a while. We could hear a lone whale blowing occasionally, not too far away and it seemed to be hanging around - maybe found some food right there. At one point I'm pretty sure I saw it in the dim light of the moon and if I'm right it was a humpback. Either that or I was seeing things.
This Doesn't Suck
That's Shannon's line, but really... this doesn't suck. Not even a little bit!
This is us cruising through Fox Cove on the way to Shallow Bay going inside of Little Sucia.
Having a nice time on a sea cruise

And Eric in President Channel with Orcas in the background.
Leaving Friday Harbor
So we got packed up and off we went. First stop was the fuel dock for stove fuel and then off to Sucia. Eric sometimes gets a little freaked about my driving. But wait - what's he pointing at?
